2019 Coed Outdoor Youth Soccer Registration 2019

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will be offering individual and returning team registration for the upcoming 2019 Coed Outdoor Youth Soccer League. The leagues are offered to Pre-K through 4th grade levels based on the 2019/20 school year. League play will begin on July 6. Players in Pre-K must be 4 years old by July 6 to register. Cost is $35 for returning team individuals (no jersey) and $45 for new players (includes a game jersey).

Returning Team Registration

Registration will be held Monday, May 20 - Thursday, May 23, for returning team individuals only. Coaches will be responsible for submitting a returning team roster, but players will be required to register individually online for their team during this period. To be considered a returning team, the coach/team must:

  • Submit a roster with at least seven returning player names to no later than Wednesday, May 15. Late roster submissions will not be accepted.
  • At least seven returning players must register individually no later than May 23.
  • Team members who fail to register during “Returning Team Registration” dates will be considered new players and will be required to register during Individual (New Player) Registration (dates below).

Returning players not interested in joining their returning team will also be required to register individually during Individual (New Player) Registration (dates below).

Individual (New Player) Registration:

Online registration – Participants are required to obtain or renew their Parks & Recreation issued *Activity ID card at Meerscheidt Recreation Center no later than May 18. Players who have met the new ID requirements can register Online on Friday, May 24 at

Onsite (in person) registration will be held on Saturday, May 25, from 9 a.m. to noon at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave.

Online registration will reopen Tuesday, May 28 and will remain open until full. Space is limited and registration is first come, first served.

*All participants are required to have a Parks & Recreation Activity ID card to register and participate. To obtain a card, parents or guardians, along with the child, must appear in person at Meerscheidt Recreation Center to fill out the permission form, provide proof of child’s age and grade level, and have the child’s photo taken. Cards will be issued from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. ID cards will not be issued on registration days.
