Regional Transportation


City of Las Cruces Roadrunner Transit is the public transportation system for Las Cruces and surrounding areas.

City of Las Cruces Dial-A-Ride is for seniors and qualifying individuals under the American with Disabilities Act. The van-style vehicles are provided by Roadrunner Transit and are ADA accessible.


Roadrunner Transit buses are used in the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s programs for the Gold and Silver Routes. The Silver Route is for commuters between Las Cruces and White Sands Missile Range. The schedule for both routes is accessible through the Gold Route.

Gold Route offers bus service that travels to and from El Paso with several stops in between.

Z-Trans offers transportation to and from Alamogordo, Holloman Air Force Base, La Luz, Tularosa, Mescalero Apache Reservation and Las Cruces.


City of Las Cruces International Airport is a thriving general aviation airport conveniently located off Interstate 10 on the West Mesa about eight miles west of downtown Las Cruces.

Dona Ana County International Jetport (Santa Teresa, NM) is a full service jetport and features the War Eagles Air Museum and hosts the Amigo Airsho.

El Paso International Airport is the gateway to Northern New Mexico and West Texas and is located about 55 miles south of Las Cruces.

Aggie Transit – provides free shuttle routes that transport riders with a valid Aggie ID from free parking lots to other campus locations.

New Mexico Park and Ride provides services through both a Gold Route for regional destinations and also a Silver Route for service between Las Cruces and White Sands Missile Range.
